Would you take the same career path that Steve Jobs took? Why or why not?

First thing we all know that Steve Jobs is just a person as who we are, able to commit mistakes, could make move that could lead to a troublesome life and the most could hurt others’ feelings and especially disobey God’s rules, a reality nature of human being. From the video we have watched in class it seems that he has been through a twirling life and it is far from what our life was supposed to be. Truly his deeds are not perfect especially on how he treat his employees and the way he handles life, personal life to be exact. It is really a big mistake on his side on treating specially his love ones in the most inappropriate way but I am glad that he learned a lot from those mistakes and strived hard for him to be able to cope up with the wasted time he must have to spend for his daughter with his new family now. So much talk for that side and let us begin to the side where this generation is relying to in terms of high technology innovations. Talking about his talents and abilities that brought him to success he is just one of the good examples who pursuit his dreams and brings them into reality. And if I am to be ask why? It is mainly because his determination that he can do something has brought him to where he is right now. An innovation though will pass but it really will make a mark on everybody’s mind and could give big impact to how our technology today has reached. I myself wants to do something that is innovative enough and could help today’s living convenient or even could only contribute a little with those dreams I think everybody has. I figured out that being a sloppy and a person who is just waiting aside to be called couldn’t really get attention you wish you would have. Just like all the entrepreneurs, outside their success lies a personality of being relentless. If I want something to happen in myself tomorrow then I should start should start doing it now. You can’t harvest anything if you will never sow.

 Would I have taken the same career path as Steven Paul Jobs? The answer has to be a resounding yes! Throughout our life we all try our hardest to better ourselves, some people known as entrepreneurs, have an idea and then do their best to make the idea happen. The earlier you can set your mind to this way of thinking, the more chance you have of living a better life, there is a saying “money cannot buy happiness” but it certainly does not hurt. An example of some world famous entrepreneurs who had an idea from an early age would be Sir Richard Branson, owner of the Virgin Empire and Bill Gates owner of Microsoft. I want to be happy and successful, with success come’s wealth; if you are also healthy you can be happy. If you have those three things you are able to help those less fortunate than yourself, which makes you a better person. I am not suggesting this is an easy task to accomplish because it isn’t; it takes a lot of commitment, dedication and hard work. You also need self-belief and discipline. In all walks of life there are challenges (problems) it is how we overcome those challenges which make us the person we become throughout our life. Today personal computers are a way of life and come in various formats, desktop – laptop and more recently notebooks, when Steven Jobs founded Apple in the late 1970’s, personal computers were not around in the same way they are today, in the western world most homes have at least one computer, so Steven had not only founded Apple but he had also found a “niche” market, that is part of the secret to his achievement in market, that is part of the secret to his amazing achievements. He found the market he wanted, he developed the product and he was fortunate enough to be “in at the start” of what has become a multi-billion dollar industry. When Steven Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Mike Markkula co-founded Apple they had competition but they managed to design, develop and successfully market their computers in such a way, they have become World famous in the computer industry and also in a relatively short space of time. Looking at Steven Jobs life so far; he was born in February 1955. He is now 55 years old and has become an American business magnate and inventor. Steven is probably best known as a co- founder of Apple. Apple is now the biggest rival to the Microsoft Computer Empire founded and owned bowed by Bill Gates. Steven Jobs has not only co-founded and worked for Apple, he has also found success as the previous chief executive officer of Pixar Animation studios. In 2006 he was appointed board member with the Walt Disney Company. Steven has not always been with Apple, after a boardroom disagreement in 1985 he resigned. To do that from the company that you have helped create must have been heart wrenching but it showed strength of character. With all the success Steven had so far, he still did not sit back, instead use the situation to become more aggressive entrepreneur and he founded another company, NeXt; this is a computer platform company specializing in higher education and business markets.

NeXt was taken over by Apple in 1996, so Steven rejoined Apple and from 1997 to this day he is the Chief Executive Officer. In 1986 he bought the computer graphics division of Lucasfilm Ltd. The point of all these facts are to show not only how successful Steven has been and continues to be but also that he never stops looking for improvements, that is why he really is a relentless type of person. Clearly he has dedication, commitment and self-discipline. If I can achieve just a small part of what he has achieved, I would be a very happy person. We all need to have goals in life and to do our best to achieve them, to be successful you have to follow somebody who is already successful and Steven Paul Jobs is exactly that.
