Minor Field Trip -- " Usep-IC invades Sutherland"

Yesterday,in connection with the fulfillment of our minor field trip in our subject Field Trip and Seminar has invaded Sutherland. Prior to that day the class are divided into four groups, two are in the morning and two batches also in the afternoon. The said invasion has started on 10:00-11:00 am for batch 1 and 11:00-12:00 for batch 2, 1:00-2:00 for batch 3 and 2:00-3:00 for batch 4.
I have enjoyed about what we saw on their company. The tour guide explained that they are not just a mere call center company but also a fast progressing BPO compnay who offers variety of services from business throughout the globe. But I am just a bit disappointed because I thought we could get inside their data center but then he just let us take a peek and explained how it worked in the lobby. I am also amazed on their Wyse machine, the one computers have been using instead of a system unit. He said it was actually cost saving, it acts as a virtual cpu who fetches actual application on the main machine who does have all the real applications and os inside it. They also have their UPS, they let us peek on what it looks like. UPS serves as a power saver who makes computer life prolong after the electricity interruption.

Field Trip : " Signed at last.."

There is no turning back now. As we met last week, our facilitator finally announced that our field trip papers was already signed by the University's President Mr. Alibin. So the only one who is holding us is our obligation on paying the land accommodation full.

Excitement almost bluff

Updates relating our field trip was said to be a floating event, the final person who is going to sign for the approval of the said trip hasn't yet decided to sign it because of the rumors of the "bombo radyo" thing. As our facilitator quoted "Someone's(student) parent has complained about the overwhelming fee we would pay".
